Thoughts on Visioning

If you’ve spent any time in the northern parts of the world, you know winter can feel cold, dark, and quiet. At first glance, it may seem lifeless—trees bare, plants dormant, animals hidden away. And yet, there is a deep magic at work during this season.

​In winter, something remarkable happens. As the leaves fall and the landscape simplifies, what was once hidden becomes visible. Driving through the countryside, we can suddenly see structures, rivers, and long-forgotten vistas that were always there—but obscured when everything was in full bloom.

Nature isn’t dying. It’s remembering. It’s resting in preparation for the return of the light.
We are offered the same invitation.

​Winter permits us to go within, to let the outer world soften for a while, and to listen more deeply. When we do, clarity emerges. We begin to see what truly matters, what has been waiting beneath the noise, and what is ready to be born when the light returns.
From this place of remembering, we re-enter life with renewed enthusiasm, quiet power, and genuine joy.

Through the discernment meditation and guided process offered in this workshop, we gain clarity about what our souls are longing to express. It may point to new work, a new relationship, or a new way of being within the work and relationships you already have. You may even uncover a gift that is ready to be unwrapped and shared with the world.
What I know for certain is this: every one of us is here for a reason. And the very fact that you are here means there is still meaningful, purposeful, and powerful work waiting to be done—through you and as you.
